ONE TO WATCH: Sinead Harnett
I have a crush. Quite a big one. Now, all serious crushes have a backstory, and I’m going to share this one with you.
I had a radio show at university called ‘In The Grimelight’ which I co-hosted with my best friend. (We were kicked off the air on one occasion - but we’ll save that story for another day.) This best friend I speak of, is both a Pokemon World Champion and a night owl. Innocently lingering on twitter late one night, a tweet from a well-known UK Grime artist called Wiley struck his attention. Wiley wanted a female vocalist. Best friend knew a young lady from school, and quickly linked Wiley to her youtube page.
Enter SINEAD HARNETT. Wiley knows talent when he sees it and featured her on his track ‘Walk Away’ within weeks. Wiley returned BF’s favour by appearing on our radio show - which was just about the most exciting thing that had happened to ‘Raw FM’, and needless to say, I have been following her career ever since.
